I know I'm late to the game. The game that is Bioshock. But, if you've been keeping up...I've only had my XBox 360 for a couple of months now. Well, the past few days, this game has consumed my soul. And I'm digging it.
The basic story is as such: An undersea world has had something go terribly awry. The populace has mutated. And you are thrown into it to help figure things out and perhaps be savior or destroyer. Or a little bit of both.
Early on, you are presented with a dilemma. That big hunk of monster/machine you see in the pic is called a "Big Daddy". Mutated little girls, about 6 years old, follow them around. These little girls, called "Little Sisters", possess within them an entity that can give you power. You have to take out the Big Daddy to get to the Little Sister. Once you do that, you are presented with the dilemma. Harvest of Rescue? Harvesting, is basically killing the Little Sister. If you do so, you get 160 power points. (They don't show you killing the Little Sister). If you choose to save the little girl, then you only get 80 power points. Making it more difficult to power up when needed.
What did I do? Well, let's just call me Harvey Harvester. Yeah, I'm a right bastard. See you in a couple of days when I'm finished shocking my bio.
I loved loved LOVED Bioshock! I only rented it for one week last year to save myself a billion dollars, so I had to reluctantly turn it back over to Blockbuster when my week was done. I didn't even harvest a single Little Sister! At the end, I stayed up one night till 3 or 4 to finish it and was crying when it ended, seriously. Its just such a beautiful looking game too, albeit very creepy at parts, and the music is also amazing. Dumb grand theft auto has got nothing on it!

Me again. You'll have to tell me how it ends when you harvest (bad, jimmy, BAD!) -- I'm really curious to know how it's different from how my way ended.
