I'm doing some research on Don Rosa for a panel I'm moderating at Heroes Con this weekend. (He's on it). Hadn't read all of his The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. I'm remedying that now! It's fantastic. What? A story of Donald's stingy Uncle is just for kids? How dare you! Better yet...how duck you!
Rosa defined Scrooge for a new age of readers. He followed after his hero, Carl Barks, the definitive Duck artist for Disney. He crafted a fine tale of the rise of Ol' Scrooge. So, don't dismiss this as child's play. It's just plain great storytelling. Go get it!
