Comedy Shots!

I went to go see my pal Grace Helbig do her thing at the People's Improv Theater on Wednesday night. She's in a group called Borealis and they kick ass! If you live in NYC or are coming here, check out their schedule and go see them. I brought pals Jon Hoche and Kevin Conn along to the show. Grace's comedy partner and all around awesome lady, Michelle Vargas, was there as well and we got to catch up. She and Grace were both on my podcast COMIC NEWS INSIDER way back in January or February of this year. (That's when I first met them both). Since then, Grace has been on the podcast several times and I've been jonesing to get Michelle back on. I got to meet her assistant/friend Emily who was way cool. And I finally got to meet one of Grace's fellow improv group members Lorraine Cink who is just the cat's meow. And she's a proper nerd too! Proof below:

 

See? PROPER NERD! Anyway, after the show, we hung at the bar and drank. And drank. And did shots. And drank. It was super happy fun time! Pal David Monteith was in town from the UK and brought along his friend Shar. Scotty was along for the ride too! Proof below:

I was able to bribe a bunch of them with shots and they agreed to come record the podcast next Tuesday. Expect much drinking, debauchery and nerdy fun! It will be a supergroup of comedy nerds! Stay tuned...
