Crashing Bumpkins

My dear friend Katelan Foisy (pictured on the right) came by to see me earlier and brought me the best present ever! Her childhood friend Nicole Fiorentino (pictured on the left...yes that's me in the middle)! Who just happens to be the current bass player for The Smashing Pumpkins (and has been since 2010). We hung out all night and had a blast. I'm pretty sure we're new best friends as we got along swimmingly. We came up with the concept of champagne cleaning for Pete's sake! I'll be she's going to invite me up on stage at a Pumpkins concert just like Bruce Springsteen did Courtney Cox way back in his "Dancing in the Dark" video. It's totally gonna happen. 

I saw some of the videos where she's playing in the band. She is a bad ass bassist/vocalist! I've always dug the Pumpkins and will definitely be looking forward to seeing them in concert at some point this year. The new album, Oceania, is out today and it's pretty durn awesome. Yes, I already downloaded it on iTunes and listened to it. Go get it.
