LA Monday

I came to LA on Monday after Comic Con for a few days.  I have a few things planned but really playing it by ear trying to relax. Old pal Becky picked me up at the train station and dropped me off at my friend's place in West Hollywood where I'm staying. I got it to myself! Woo hoo! My friend Praveen (of Broadcast Thought fame) came to get me later and we attended the Cinerruption as hosted by my new besties Stevie Nelson and Milana Vayntrub. First, I put the call out to Twitter of where to eat/drink before hand near the Downtown Independent theater. (Coincidentally, I was in the exact same theater on the Monday following Comic Con last year seeing pal Brea Grant's starring role in an indie film). The masses yelled out "Cole's!" and we went. Great French Dip and amazing cocktails. I remember seeing my other pals Alie and Georgie do a segment for their drinking show there. Amazing old fashioned. 

Soon, we went to the theater to see the girls do a MST3K style bit to the likes of Bio-Dome. Yes, that Pauly Shore/Stephen Baldwin masterpiece. Super fun times though I forgot how genuinely horrible that movie is. Praveen and I met up w/ some friends at Bar Marmont (ooh, sooooooooooooooooo LA) after for a few. Great bar and awesome cocktails. Hit the Fatburger on the way home as it's not an LA trip without some late night Fatburger. 

Fun times planned on Tuesday. Seeing The Dark Knight Rises. YES!
