Emma Caulfield Vlogs!

 

My good friend and YouTube/My Damn Channel superstar Grace Helbig (Daily Grace) tweeted a link to this new vlog by actress Emma Caulfield. At first, I didn't recognize Emma. I was a HUGE Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan and Emma's portrayal of the demon Anya was always one of my favorite things. She's been out of the spotlight for awhile so it took me a minute.

At first glance, I thought it was a spoof with some unknown woman. Grace has a great sense of humor and often links to when someone is spoofing her. So, I thought she had tweeted it because of that. Then I realized it was Emma. Yet, some subtle similarities to Daily Grace. Even in some of the mannerisms, editing style, humor and actual phrases. ("It's Thursday and you know what that means").

I know it's possible that Emma could have never seen Grace's channel (over 247,000+ subscribers and rising daily) and I'm 99.99% positive she isn't trying to imitate her. Not saying it's not entertaining in its own right. It is. As I said, loves me some Emma. The little similarities struck me as funny though! 

And hey, plenty of room on this ol' internet for everyone. Go check 'em both out, if you haven't. Heck, maybe they can do a crossover one day! Though the internet might 'splode all over your face.
