3rd Show

Nov_05_flyer_front_3 Nov_05_flyer_back Last night was the 3rd show in our 4 show run of HomeGroan Sketch Comedy presents HomeGroan and the Goblet of Fire.  We have hit our stride and the show is kick ass!  I was worried because I came back from Seattle (see post below for story!) with a bit of a cold.  My voice, or "the gift" as I like to call it, was not up to par.  Hell, not even up to double bogey.  I was cracking and screeching like Fran Drescher on crack when she screeches! Grrrrrrr.  But, I over dosed on my Cyclone Cider and Singers Saving Grace tonics and hoped for the best.  I ended up finding my voice, although it did almost stray on the high notes.  We had a great show!  What? You didn't see it?  Well then you are stupid.  Yes, I said it.  Whatcha gonna do about it?  Oh, you're gonna come to next week's show, the last one, to make up for it and prove you're not stupid?  Go ahead!  I dare you!  Bring it, bitches!

I had a contingency of fellow Browncoats in attendance and they were a great crowd!  My friend, Kevin Conn, opened up for us again and this time he was actually funny.  Last time, he bawled up in the corner and cried for 5 minutes.  We weren't sure if it was part of the act.  Perhaps some brilliant Andy Kaufman like bit.  Nope, he's just a big baby.  Glad he brought the funny this time!  Just joshing there, Kev!  Always funny, man!  And a big thanks to my friend, Josie, for stepping in to do box office when our regular person was found backstage covered in maple syrup and kept madly uttering "Mrs. Butterworth....Mrs. Butterworth."  Not sure what happened and I really don't want to know.  He tasted good though.

Hung out after with the BC's and other friends at a nearby pub.  Good pick, Emily! I noticed that some of my friends seemed frightened to talk to me.  Perhaps seeing me as Lil' Kim really jarred them.  Whatever.  They can get over it in therapy.  Or maybe they really liked me as a girl.  Now that disturbs me.  Looks like I'll be needing the therapy.  The closest I've come is Aromatherapy.  Very relaxing.  Our lovely tattooed waitress from Pittsburgh got us plenty of drinks from the impressive beer list.  She's only been in NYC for 3 months.  Fresh meat.  Mmmmmmm....good! I'll be gentle.  I ran back and forth between tables of friends to insure that they all had quality time with me.  I'm soooooooooooooo popular.  My many fans...I love you all!  Don't fight over me.  There's plenty of The Jam to go around!  And daddy likes to be shared.  Ya feel me?

Hey, have you checked out my story about my trip to Seattle? It's the long post below this one.  There's pics over in the photo album as well. Grab a drink, some ice cream and a big needle full of heroin.  Sit back and enjoy!
