Ladies and Gentleman. The Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders. Undefeated. 10-0. That's right! Can they do it? Can they make it to the Superbowl and be the first squad since the '72 Miami Dolphins cheerleaders to win it all and have the only undefeated season in NFL Cheerleading history? Critics naysayed for months now. "They don't have the legs for it! They can't keep up this excellent cheering! Someone along the way will out cheer them." Now, those same critics are looking more closely at those gams. Those pom poms. Oh those pom poms. Truly blessed.
Now, I'm from Jacksonville, Florida. Naturally, I'm rooting for my girls, the Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleaders. They are currently 7-3 after edging out the Tennessee Titans girls yesterday. It was a close one, but my girls kicked, flipped, roared, rooted, bounced, jumped, and jiggled their way to victory. If they keep their routines up, then they could make the playoffs!
Okay, okay. I'm actually talking about the football teams, not the cheerleaders. I just wanted an excuse to put pictures of cheerleaders up. Peyton Manning and his Colts are being heralded as the contenders to the undefeated crown this season. And with their record, it's quite realistic. Although, my Jags lost to them in week 2 by a narrow edge. Only 10-3. A touchdown. The Jags face off against the Colts in week 14 on December 11th. I really want the Colts to remain undefeated until then and have my Jags spoil their perfect season! Awwww yeah! It would be a great belated birthday gift for me since my birthday is on December 9th.
Back to the cheerleaders. Wouldn't it be great if they really competed against each other? Short skirts and pom poms flying! Hair being pulled. Uniforms being ripped apart. One can dream. Matter of fact, I'm gonna go "dream" right now.
