The day before and day of recording my podcast, Comic News Insider, is always a sleepless, busy time. I get home from work after Midnight on Monday and get right to it. Compiling all of the news stories I gathered throughout the week. Organizing the show notes. Deciding what books to review and putting together those reviews. Gathering all listener feedback. Checking the forums for any more info or feedback constantly. Re-checking news sites for any updated news. Researching that week's interviewee and coming up with questions. Reading about interviewee, reading their books, etc. Deciding on what will make the Top 3. Emailing back and forth with our sponsor to finalize PR, press releases, etc.
So much more.
And then, not feeling like I finished and am missing something right up to show time. Which, if you look at the time, is moments away. See?
I hope you all appreciate the sacrifices I make for you. Yes. You. Just you. No one else.
And, no. I don't want your pity. Just money. SEND MONEY!
And maybe some bourbon. And a stripper. Maybe a stripper with money and bourbon. Yeah, that'll do, pig. That'll do.
Well I was GONNA send you a stripper with burbon and some singles, but you called me a pig and ruined it. So I've called FedEx and told them to let the stripper out of her shipping crate. I'm assuming she drank the burbon.
